Earth's magnetic north pole is shifting
The magnetic north pole is on the move, and scientists can't explain why it seems to be slowing down and speeding up since its discovery. A flip of the magnetic north pole and south pole is possible, and it has happened before, though scientists aren't sure when the geological event could occur again.
